APOD 2.3

Today's APOD shows a unique perspective of our moon. Most people usually see it as a large grey dot in the sky. With color added to the topographical map, we can see the different heights of the moon, and as a result, see different canyons and mountains, and other features of the moon. The moon really is similar to the Earth!
